VxURL

VxURL

VxURL was an intelligence collections and monitoring program developed in the early portion of this century towards malware counter-intelligence actionability.  Rampart Research processed over 1M links a day hosting malware, triaged downloads, collected meta-data, and disseminated to over 50 global partners around the globe.

This enabled unique telemetry and analytics towards understanding the tools, tactics, and procedures of our adversaries while providing important high value IOCs to the global threat identification industry.

Special thanks are given to our partners at Georgia Tech University and DHS for their funding and support, in part, to make this program possible.

VxURL was disbanded in 2015, with the advent of commercial services that did not exist upon the creation of the program earlier in the century, with research sold to universities to offset costs of running the non-profit organization.
